Wyatt Finishes 3rd in state!
Registration begins October 18th and ends November 22nd. We will have our first practice Tuesday, November 5th at 6:00 pm and end at 7:15 for primary and 7:30 for elementary. Practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday through the end of January. Our schedule follows the APS calendar. We will have practices during breaks, but times and days may be altered.
Cost for the program is $200 plus a USA Wrestling membership (USA membership is $37 until October 31 and $40 after). Potential wrestlers are welcome to sit in a high school practice at North Atlanta anytime from 4-6 pm to see if it is something they think they maybe interested in doing.
The Buckhead Wrestling Club is a USA Wrestling club out of North Atlanta High School in Atlanta, GA. The principle focus of the club is Folkstyle wrestling (same as high school and collegiate). We also offer some Freestyle Wrestling (Olympic Style) in the Spring. The purpose of the club is to promote the sport of wrestling in Atlanta, and give kids in the city an opportunity to wrestler year round, learn the sport, and/or compete at the highest levels! Wrestlers of ages and experience welcomed!
North Atlanta wrestling room - 60' x 85', wall mats on three sides. Wall to wall light weight mats throughout.
Equipment
Equipment for the club will include wrestling shoes, wrestling headgear and workout clothes (tee-shirt, shorts, or sweats, nothing with zippers or metal). We will offer a spirit package (price determined at a later date) for those that would like to compete which will offer custom singlet, shorts, tee-shirt, and top.
